Suffice it to say that in the absence of further information about the production schedule or the final price of the vehicle, your money would be better placed elsewhere, even though you can always get it back.
The retail price of the Tesla Roadster in France should start at 172,000 euros, the price of a Ferrari F430 Spider or a Lamborghini Gallardo, both on sale now (it’s up to you). But in addition, it delivers an autonomy never seen on this type of vehicle, on the order of a thousand kilometers. All these exceptional features undoubtedly explain the delays, especially since it is difficult to imagine that this type of luxury car seduces as much as a Model 3 or Model Y for example. Still, at this stage Tesla refuses to give even the smallest detail about the number of lucky ones who actually reserve the Roadster for this price. And that we will be very surprised if those who reserve their Roadster today will receive their vehicle before the end of 2023.
