4th act of the season!

The Stade Brestois 29 and FC Nantes courts meet for the 4th time this season! Victorious in July 2021 in the friendlies against Francis Le Blé (1-3), Antoine Kombouaré’s players did it again in the first leg at La Beaujoire (3-1, 7th day), then in the Coupe de France in the round of 16 of the competition (2-0).

It’s said!

“I expect that Brest will work hard to find a solution. We remember the last race in the Coupe de France, it was complicated. We struggled to get this victory. The races are often tough, but the two “Teams respect each other and there is often a good frame of mind. More personally, I challenge my friend (Michel Der Zakarian). These are games we want to win. From his side it is the same.” confided Antoine Kombouaré before the match.

The first stage in La Beaujoire

Last September, Antoine Kombouaré’s players confirmed their good attitude at the expense of Stade Brestois (3-1). Ludovic Blas opened the way by finding the net (27th). Pedro Chirivella, with a beautifully packed shot (55th), and Lilian Brassier (csc), squeezed by Kalifa Coulibaly (58th), allowed FC Nantes to shelter from a return of SB29, cutting the score of Jeremy Le Douaron (67th) was reduced. It should be noted that the meeting was marked by the tribute to the nursing staff of Loire-Atlantique for the work done since the start of the Covid-19 crisis.

500 supporters approximately expected in Brest.

Again again…

After a hectic week, the weather is getting milder in the Finistère region. If some cloudy periods are announced according to the forecasts of Météo France, sunny periods will dominate the day. The sweetness is also back with a mercury close to 15°C at the best of the day. Keep in mind that players will have to deal with some gusts of wind (40 km/h).

It’s said!

“We have beaten against Nantes three times this season. I hope that we will approach this game with a new frame of mind and different playing qualities to bring them down. The goal is there. Nantes is a stronger team than us. a very good competition. They defend well with players attacking up front… It’s up to us to play a big game to regain the win at home.” Michel Der Zakarian, coach of Stade Brestois 29.
