Initially suspended for the final game against the Blazers, blamed for a 16th technical foul, Luka Doncic eventually kept his place against the Portland franchise. The reason ? The pain is real and is unlikely to pass overnight. While he was due to undergo an MRI on Monday, Doncic was seen before returning to the hospital. He wore a protective boot, just to keep his injury from getting worse.

A few hours later, the Mavs shared some of the results on Doncic, confirming a sprained calf. The special feature? The franchise declined to give a return date, ahead of Game 1 against the Jazz next Saturday:
