Third installment of the saga Amnesia and next Amnesia: The Dark Descent from 2010, Amnesia: Rebirth presents itself as a first-person horror game in which the player embodies Tasi Trianon, a French technical designer who wants to join an archeological expedition in 1937 to the excavation site of Tin Hinan, Algeria. But after her plane crashes, Trianon sets out in search of her companions, including her husband Salim, by exploring desert caves and ancient tombs. The game is dimly lit and it is necessary to use light sources such as a kerosene lamp or torches and other candles to progress.
A heavy atmosphere that players are constantly faced with as they solve various puzzles and learn about the lore of the game. As for the first Amnesia† Amnesia: Rebirth is based on a level of fear. The latter gradually increases and when fear invades Tasi, the latter is plagued with hallucinations. Be careful though, the horrific creatures you encounter cannot be defeated. You either have to run or hide to try to escape.
