After Rogue Legacy and The Disappearance of Ethan Cartertwo excellent games available since last Thursday, April 7, now the Epic Games Store will allow its users to get their hands on two new titles: XCOM 2 and insurmountable† The first is one of the best turn-based tactics games ever developed, while the second is a solo adventure where you have to climb huge mountains. Two games available from next Thursday, April 14 at 5pm to Thursday, April 21 at 5pm. Games that are sure to occupy your next evenings.
XCOM 2
Released in February 2016, XCOM 2 is THE benchmark for turn-based tactics. The player holds the title of commander and finds himself at the head of a rebel base, twenty years after the world’s leaders accepted the unconditional surrender for the alien forces and that XCOM, the planet’s last line of defense, was decimated. The player must therefore operate from the shadows, while on the surface the new rulers of the earth are establishing beautiful cities under the guise of a lasting peace. Alone, a sinister project aims to destroy all opposition to the regime.
To thwart their plans, you lead a squad of soldiers from different countries, different classes and most importantly, fully customizable. It’s up to you to choose where to strike, knowing that civilians are at risk of being targeted by alien forces. Five classes available, a skill tree for each class, you can perform tactical operations as you wish, whether you are a fan of ambushes or prefer lightning and explosive operations. A varied bestiary awaits you and requires good management of your soldiers, especially since their deaths are final.
So every mission can mean the end of your game. It is up to you to carefully move through the alien infrastructures to thwart the secret projects of the new rulers of the Earth. An excellent game that quickly seduced fans of the genre. And if you want to prolong the fun, know that the prolongation War of the Elect extends the life of the game.

Instead of donning your boots and equipping your grappling hooks to tackle the conquest of Everest, opt for a refreshing adventure with insurmountable† In this game you play as a lone climber who wants to climb the highest peaks in the world. It’s up to you to make the right decisions to survive in this hostile environment. The road will be long to reach the top and you must be careful not to be surprised by the many dangers that will complicate your ascent.
Each climb is unique and each climber has their own skills. Dynamic weather, day/night cycle, random events and especially the last death, enough to promise a surprising adventure to those who want to try their luck. Throughout the climb, you’ll need to keep an eye on your character’s vitals, as you explore caves and other ruins to recover equipment from previous climbers. Each mountain is randomly generated, which also offers great replayability.
