Game News Elden Ring: The latest update tackles the famous secret walls, no more shortcuts?
Elden Ring is a game full of secrets. Below them was a secret wall that actually turned out to be destructible and could serve as an extremely useful shortcut. Except that the 1.04 update went through and the situation changed…
Hit a wall, literally
Elden Ring Although it was released on February 25, it continues to make headlines. It must be said that FromSoftware has done a very good job of publishing a huge game to the world, with dozens and dozens more or less well kept secrets, more or less dangerous… or more or less profitable. To realise this, in any case, you should get your hands dirty yourself, at your own risk.
Among the finds that were quickly detected (and one of the most popular), we informed you last march of a secret wall at Volcan Manor which took as many as fifty blows to be broken: it then revealed a monstrous shortcut, saving a lot of time. Nothing specifically indicated that the wall was destructible, making it a particularly well-hidden Easter egg. Except it was clearly not planned by the Japanese developers.
apparently some fake walls in Elden Ring take multiple hits to reveal, and oh my god this changes everything

Runway 9 ¾closed again
The latest update fromElden Ring (with the sweet name 3.14) has taken the liberty of making some fixes and improvements you can find it at this address† Besides taking away the ability to destroy the famous secret wall, discussed above! It was YouTuber Zullie the Witch who realized this, returned to the scene and dealt the normally customary and necessary fifty punches… which will have done nothing. Nothing. And this isn’t the only wall that matters.
It therefore seems that it was a real bug, so corrected by the Japanese studio or at least a real kickback after the shortcut was deemed too beneficial. Difficult to know as FromSoftware hasn’t talked about the topic and secretly made this change. Or do walls now need a lot more blows to break down?
Necessary, many wonder if other fast lanes (as we told you about) here† are also affected by this 1.04 patch. There is no doubt that players will have to multiply returns in the coming days.
