Game News Gran Turismo 7: all the details of update 1.12, some fixes in pole position
Polyphony Digital’s simulation has decided to take its fate into its own hands: first with a generous update (finally!) last week, but also with patch 1.12, released this morning. On the program? Some corrections are always welcome.
A slowly evolving experience
The course of Gran Turismo 7 was complicated to say the least. While the launch went extremely well, Polyphony Digital found itself in a situation where it found itself: already through server maintenance making the game unplayable for almost two days (actually there is a mandatory connection), but also because an update came to make the experience of the players more difficult. This lowered the races’ fees to encourage microtransactions, making the purchase of certain cars nearly impossible.
For the unbelievable bad buzz from the communityThe Japanese studio finally responded to spend a new update last week, to rebalance the economic system. Things have gotten much better since then, and that doesn’t mean the developers have stopped monitoring since a 1.12 patch was rolled out today, Wednesday, April 13. Here’s the program.
Gran Turismo 7 Update 1.12 Additions
1. Brand central
We fixed an issue with the “invitation” feature where it would expire prematurely. Additionally, with this update, all accounts that log in before April 24 will receive invitations from the following builders:
- Aston Martin
- Bugatti
- Lemon
- Ferrari
- Lamborghinic
- Paganic
- Porsche
With the implementation of Update 1.12, invitations are now usable for 30 days from the date of receipt.
2. World Circuits
Fixed an issue where music would not play at the start and finish lines of a race.
