Last month, Sony Interactive Entertainment revealed her plans for the redesign of Playstation Plusin which the PS nowresulting in offering three subscription levels to subscribers, the first while keeping what is currently being done for the same price. The issue of deployment was then postponed with a vague “June 2022” for perspective only. Well, we have now communicated a clear timetable on the PlayStation blog†
Finally, it is from the end of May that certain areas will see these new offers appear, with Europe last at the end of June.
We are working hard to launch the service and would like to keep you updated on the latest progress. Our new PlayStation Plus offering is rolling out early in select Asian markets, followed by Japan. Here’s an overview of our new implementation plan by region.
- Asia (excluding Japan) – release scheduled for May 23, 2022
- Japan – scheduled for release on June 1, 2022
- America – scheduled for release on June 13, 2022
- Europe – release scheduled for June 22, 2022
In addition, we offer access to cloud streaming in the following countries (bringing the total number of countries with access to cloud streaming to 30**). The following markets will also have the Premium tier for PlayStation Plus when the service launches: Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Hungary, Malta, Poland, Republic of Cyprus, Czech Republic, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia.
