Game news PS5: A console-exclusive game is said to be ready, release date to be announced soon?

Of all the major PlayStation games announced, God of War: Ragnarok is certainly one of the most notable. Indeed, he is the last to close PlayStation title games that will be released in 2022. For now, the date of the return of Kratos and his son Atreus remains a secret, but this could change in the near future. Indeed, if we are to believe the tweet from one of the Santa Monica developers, things seem advanced!

At this point, it’s just a rumor, but Ruben Morales’ tweet points in the direction of a game that appears to be on the right track. In a short post on the social network, the artist shared a video of his daughter playing at the god of warof 2018 stating the following message:

She likes to play the new game. But since I can’t show those images, I’ll show her the old game. She likes watching the trailers, so I told her to play today.

GOD OF WAR: RAGNARÖK WHEN?

For obvious reasons, Ruben Morales can’t reveal the opening scene or in-game passages of God of War: Ragnarök, but this little tweet says a lot about the progress of the Santa Monica title. We can indeed imagine that the interested party has a so-called “debug” console, with which games can be developed, and that he has offered his daughter a final or near-final version of the game. At this point, no release date has been announced by Sony and Santa Monica, but these kinds of messages are something to reassure Kratos fans – especially after the rumors of a delay. At the moment, some are reporting an October release, but nothing is certain. Obviously, if we’re relying on such a date, there’s probably still some work to be done before the game goes gold, with all the optimizations and validations that come with it. But if Ruben Morales’ daughter has been given access to the second adventure of Kratos and Atreus, it’s because the main design phases have been completed.

Come on, we’ll keep our fingers crossed for a release date soon.
