This is the price of the recent Apple Studio Display If you’re told it’s a screen-stamped Porsche Design made in collaboration with AOC, you’re sure to look away. This time, however, it would be wrong not to look at the spec sheet.
Mini LED technology
AOC used a screen with Mini LED technology, a technology that is superior to many monitors. This is a very recent technology on the monitors, we find it on the Samsung Odyssey G9 but also the last one iPad Pro 12.9 M1† The integration of Mini LED technology theoretically allows for higher brightness and more contrast.

However, Porsche Design claims that the monitor can even reach 1,600 nits. concerning DCI-P3 color coverage is 97%† The PD32M has performance worthy of good gaming screens, the 4K definition is accompanied by a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz, the response time of 1 ms (GtG) and there is also Adaptive-Sync support.
The Porsche Design AOC Agon Pro PD32M, which will not be available until June, is a PC monitor designed and developed by the Porsche Design division in collaboration with AOC, a highly renowned hardware manufacturer. As for Porsche Design, it is a sub-brand of the German company known for its luxury sports cars, which was founded in 1974. The electronic range currently includes only a Bluetooth mouse sold for 100 euros and made with Acer, but the company also sells a variety of products, including sunglasses and a lighter.
It’s a screen that also features RGB lighting, which in itself is questionable. The PD32M’s colored lighting is located on the back of the screen, a common feature of AOC, Asus and Acer gaming screens. The monitor also comes with a remote control in case you want to use the screen as a TV.
Be it at Acer or Asus, you can’t find a PC screen with such a nice technical sheet, even the Asus ROG Swift PG32UQX Mini LED or the Acer Predator X32 are Mini LED screens that didn’t build the monitor.
