Game News eFootball 2022: Konami is “finally” listening to players for the big 1.0 update coming
Next Thursday, version 1.0 of eFootball PES 2022 is expected to make up for the many shortcomings of the “demo” version released last September, which was produced through player feedback.

The last chance ?
Released last September, the “demo” version 0.9 of eFootball 2022 failed to convince the crowd. The new version of Pro Evolution Soccer (PES), published by Konami, had a chaotic launch: bugs of all kinds, face models that had to be reviewed for a visual representation that was below expectations. As a result, the game is considered one of the worst (if not the worst) games of 2021 if we are to believe the results on Metacritic. The note aggregator saves an average of 25/100a real flop.
However, Konami still has hopes of catching up: last week, the publisher announced that it was de April 14, version 1.0 of the title on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox series. Many changes have been made to the program: firing ranges, improved dribbling or even extra parameters have been added and tested by the JV editors in a event organized by Konami UK†
The players in the foreground for 1.0?
What has Konami used to improve eFootball 2022? In an interview given by a publisher spokesperson to VGC, the publisher mentions that it has modified the game based on the feedback players have provided since the release of the first version in September:
We take player feedback very seriously. Since the release last September, we’ve focused on improvements and fixes based on the feedback and opinions we’ve received. We will continue to improve the game and as always feedback and feedback from players is much appreciated.
As it stands, it appears that many changes have been made for this 1.0 version of eFootball. And still according to Konami’s spokesperson at VGC, several factors accounted for the imperfect state of the title when it was released:
The incomplete completion of the game is the result of several factors: the transition to a new game engine, compatibility with next-generation consoles such as the PS5 and Xbox series, the change to the free-to-play model, and the wish to release the game very soon.
Enough improvements to take the torch from FIFA’s best football simulation? Answer on April 14 with the release of eFootball 2022 1.0 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series, and Xbox One.
