Remember: 2020 was announced at the Game Awards The Callisto protocola new franchise developed by the brand new studio Striking Distance. His first trailer, which you can find above, set the tone: it’s horrifying, futuristic and fits devilishly well into a tasty Dead Space ghost† And for good reason, the project is led by Glen A. Schofield, the man behind Isaac Clarke’s macabre adventure.
A nice resume, especially since he was simply the head of Visceral Games and then co-founder of Sledgehammer Games, the company behind many Call of Duty. Basically, this family tree necessarily raises questions about: The Callisto protocol who, after a long silence, begins to point the tip of his nose again via a tweet from his famous director.
Aim for the moon, it doesn’t scare me
And the least we can say is that Schofield seems playful towards his new baby, who shouldn’t have to wait long to show some gameplay. To accompany a photo from a motion capture session, he specifies on Twitter:
This is my favorite moment when creating a game – the design is starting to come together. I love seeing all the hard work the team puts in the mocap studio to bring our characters to life. Thanks to everyone who waited while we finish and polish the game. Soon we will have more to share! pic.twitter.com/0nmcR55OFf

Suffice it to say that we are curious about the result.
As the American admits, we must revise The Callisto protocol very soon we introduce ourselves with gameplay and for good reason: it’s slated for 2022 on PC, PS5, and Xbox series, at a precise date as yet unknown. Soon it will be time to let the dogs loose.
