Few differences with the new model
Sometimes new is not always the best solution. the Samsung Galaxy A53 is the brand’s new mid-range, but the A52s 5G is undoubtedly the one that fits best thanks to its excellent value for money. It doesn’t have much to envy to its successor, as both are equipped with a 6.5-inch Full HD + Super AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz (adjustable) to make everyday navigation smooth. We therefore find a very high maximum brightness, excellent contrast and a rich color palette.
Aesthetically, they are almost identical, as Samsung’s new mid-range offers the same design. Once flipped there is always a matte plastic back. The photo module is also no different: the A52s has the same composition, with a main sensor of 64 megapixels, for detailed images and this, even in the dark. Otherwise, there is a 12 megapixel ultra-wide angle, a 5 megapixel sensor and a 5 megapixel macro sensor. For your best selfies, you can finally count on a 32-megapixel front camera.
Equally attractive, but at a lower price
The S version has been slightly revised with a more powerful processor, and even compared to the Exynos 1280 offered on the new model, the A52s is powerful enough to run most applications, even demanding games like Fortnite in high quality. As for the autonomy, the A52s has a battery from 4,500 mAh. It’s slightly less than the A53 (5,000 mAh), but the A52’s S model is durable enough to last a day, depending on your usage. For charging, if it is said to be “fast” – up to 25W – it takes more than a good hour to fully charge it to 100%, the same as with the new model.
